We manufactured these custom left hand thread hex head bolts for our customer to grade 5 requirements in plain thermal black oxide finish. They measured LH 3/4-10 x 2″ in length with the hex head measuring 1.100-1.125″ across the flats. Head height was set to .483-.455″. Full certs were made available with the parts.

These custom grade 8 wheel bolts were manufactured for our automotive OEM customer using SAE J429 material with zinc yellow finish with post plating bake. An 82 degree countersunk feature was incorporated into the head with cold forging with 1/2-13 UNC 2B full thread below measuring 1.25″ in length.

These custom low hex head grade 5 bolts were manufactured at 30,000 pieces for our long time customer, with zinc clear finish.  Fully threaded with 1″ of 5/8-11 thread pitch these parts came with a low hex head measuring .291-.316″ in height and .922-.936″ across the flats.  A 15-30 degree standard chamfer was added around the corners and flats.  The narrow head height was critical for the tight constraints in our customer’s assembly application.

We supply these custom grade 5 shoulder bolts to our long time customer with recurring annual blanket purchase orders, typically with annual usage ranging between 20,000 and 25,000 pieces.  They are domestically manufactured to a grade 5 standard with commercial zinc, bake and clear chromate finish.  The shoulder measures .40″ in diameter by .50″ in length, with 5/16-18 thread rolled the balance of the screw.  The overall length is 1-1/4″ underneath the head.

We supply these custom hex shoulder screws to our Canadian customer, with the shoulder measuring .425 +/-.002 by 1.650 +.005/-.000 in length.  5/16-18 thread was incorporated measuring .50″ in length including the unthreaded portion before the rolled thread begins.  .055 radius hole was then drilled at .102″ from the end of the threaded portion.

4340 alloy steel was used to produce the part, oil quenched and tempered at 315 degrees with min. 55 HRC surface hardness required to meet our customer’s requirements.  The hex head measures .62″ across the flats and .36″ in height.

We have supplied these custom grade 5 hex cap screws to our customer for well over 10 years. The parts are manufactured domestically, with production runs typically covering 50,000 pieces at a time. The shoulder is critical on these parts, set at .312″ in diameter +/- .005″ and at 1/4″ in length. Head dimensions slightly off the standard for this size and the finish is black oxide and light oil. Together with a number of other parts we supply these custom hex cap screws through revolving annual blanket purchase orders that split up the annual usage to match our customer’s seasonality.

These are custom 316 stainless hex bolts made domestically in the USA in 316 stainless steel material.  The thread pitch made this hex head cap screw a custom production deal, at 13/16-10 fully threaded.  The thread was rolled rather than cut and the head width across the flats was set to 1-1/8 inches, with the head height set to 15/32″.  Material certs and a certificate of conformance was available upon request.

These are custom 4140 steel shoulder bolts we supplied to our automotive customer at 100 pieces.  4140 steel material was used with heat treat to achieve 37-44 RC, with plain finish.  The shoulder measured M11.5 x 136MM with a 1.15MM groove approximately 35MM from the special hex head.  The special dog point measures 10.447MM/10.540MM by 5.7MM in length.  Lead time for this 100 piece domestic batch was approximately 6 weeks from order confirmation.

These are custom extra long hex bolts we have supplied our customer for many years, with shipments of approx 20,000 pcs at a time every 2-3 years.  307A steel material is used with zinc clear finish and all parts are manufactured overseas.  1.5″ to 1.688″ of thread is rolled on each part and the hex head height is set to .226-.268 inches.  R0.01-0.03 underneath the head is critical for our customer’s application, allowing the head to lay as flat as possible against the mating part.
