These custom stainless steel shoulder bolts were manufactured in 18-8 stainless steel material for our drone manufacturing customer. M3 X 0.5MM thread was rolled with a thread relief machined below the 4MM X 5MM shoulder. A 2MM hex drive was broached at the head and a precision machined profile was incorporated on the head to meet drawing requirements.

Custom custom Inconel 718 double thread offset studs were manufactured for our aerospace customer. The offset head, double thread, and hardness of material made these parts extremely difficult to manufacture. The head radius measured .203″ and a combination of 5/16-24 2A and 1/4-28 2A thread was cut to a length of .842″. Definitely one of the toughest parts we have dealt with – the hardness of the material created countless issues with tool life. Full certs with FAIR were provided with the parts.

These custom tapered shoulder socket head bolts were manufactured using 4140 alloy steel material with 28-32 HRC hardness and zinc clear finish. The shoulder diameter tapers form 0.78″ down to 0.75″ and the head diameter was set to 1.00 +/-.015″. Underneath the shoulder approximately .55″ of 3/8-24 2A thread was rolled with thread relief allowance of roughly .085″.

We supplied these custom slotted double thread studs to our furniture manufacturing customer. Low carbon steel was used for the production with a black oxide finish. 3/8-16 thread was rolled on each side and the overall length measured at 47.60MM. The part is similar to the hex socket drive version in alloy steel that we supply our automotive aftermarket OEM customers.

We supplied our high performance bicycle manufacturing customer these custom torx drive grade 5 titanium screws as an alternative to the traditional A4-80 material option. The titanium material version offered great weight to strength ratio and also superior cosmetic options with the variety of anodizing colors. The screws incorporated rolled M5 coarse thread at a length of .709″ underneath the head. The drive was cold formed on these parts and the balance of the head fully machined prior to thread roll. Full certs were available with the parts.

These custom 17-4 stainless steel shoulder screws were manufactured using DFARS compliant material for our defense customer, with MIL-DTL-13924D black oxide finish and heat treat to condition 1025. M3 X 0.50 thread was incorporated at a length of 4.06MM and the shoulder measured 3MM in diameter by 24.5MM. The head incorporated an aggressive diamond knurl and a broached 6-lobe drive. Full certs with a FAIR were provided with the parts.

These are custom large metric class 12.9 socket head bolts manufactured domestically for our utilities customer at 92 pieces. M90 X 4 thread was incorporated at thread length of 120MM. The shoulder dimeter was set to 84.3MM at a length of 290MM.

The 75MM socket drive was broached with a 10MM diameter hole drilled in the center to a depth of 385″ from the top of the head.

We had these custom 6-lobe shoulder screws manufactured in 416 stainless steel in the USA for our electronics customer. DFARS compliant material was used and the parts were heat treated to achieve 26-32 RC. The 6-lobe drive (T10 size) was made using a combination of broaching and punch, allowing us to bypass cold forming that carries a much longer lead time in our current conditions. The shoulder measures .13″ X .500″ in length and the threaded portion is #4-40 with a minimal undercut. Full certs were included with the parts per our customers requirements.

We had these custom automotive 12 point bolts manufactured for our aftermarket automotive customer in batches of 20,000-40,000 pieces using 4140 alloy steel material to Grade 8 specifications.  The bolts were finished with either Geomet or Zinc Aluminum and were combined with a Nitrile 70A o-ring to provide a “sealing” effect.  7/16-20 thread was rolled on the part and a .365″ X .725″ point was incorporated with .125″ radius.  The 12 point flange head was cold formed to a height of .350″.  Full certs were available with the parts and Level 3 PPAP as well.

We had 5,000 pieces of these custom countersunk double end studs manufactured for our customer that specializes in frozen drink equipment production. 304 stainless steel material was used and the thread was cut on both sides. Overall length was 41.66MM +/- 0.5 and both threaded sides incorporated 5/16-18 2A thread, at 10.16MM and 15.24MM in length accordingly. At the maximum diameter point the countersunk shoulder reaches 11.18MM +/-0.2.
